Feel: Egg-cellent Idea

Genelle is the jelly bean queen, and what bigger holiday is there for jelly beans than Easter? So, I decided to do something fun for her in celebration. However, the thing about having a friend who is both a stylist and designer is you can't just put a bow on a bag....unless it's handmade by some local artisan or is an amazing vintage find or is made in some village known for making item X for centuries...or at least that's how it feels. :) After some thought, I decided on a gift that was simple, bright and modern...less Easter and more spring. Something with jewel tones and interesting shapes. I found egg cartons in happy colors and the perfect faceted peek-a-boo eggs in pink, purple, yellow, blue, green and purple. I loved the texture, shapes and colors! Plus, once filled, she would be able to see the rainbow of jelly beans inside. The egg carton was the perfect "box" it didn't even need a bow, but being just as special as Genelle, I couldn't resist! See my colorful creations below, and have some for your self
