Meredith and I battle about aesthetic things sometimes. She loves skulls, and snowmen and bunnies. Me, not so much. Not being a super-fan of novelty, I look for a more thoughtful approach to holiday decor. Halloween is probably my least favorite of the lot. How can you create an enjoyable dinner with spiders, gouls and gore all around? It's a slim chance that those themes will inspire my apetite. So, I have been hunting for items that she and I can stand behind. She started by making the beautifully detailed Cameo Cookies available on our shop. They were a hit at a few recent sales and This made me take a second look at how a Halloween party could be beautiful with hits of other worldly whimsy. Add some beautiful tabletop items and keep the rest simple. The people will fill in all of the blanks. Here are a few beauties:
Luesma & Vega Muna Glass Dinne Plate at Barneys New York
Waterford John Rocha Black Cut Red Wine Glasses
Neona Flatware by Anthropologie in Black
